This is the first of four installments of the 9-12 English Weekly Paper Anthology.
The English students were assigned to choose their favorite weekly papers for publication in this class anthology.
The Senior class of 2008 took great pride in their writing and this 36 page collection is a fine representation of the quality and diversity of their intellect.

| Community Art Class Doors |

The Community Art Class put together a collection of doors based on their concept of family and community activities. On May 25, 2008 the Grand Opening of the doors was presented during the Northport Yacapalooza. These doors will be on display through the end of Summer.

School has ended and several mentors have graduated. There are more requests for mentors for the elementary students so if you are interested in joining the mentoring program, please contact Mr. Swaney, he is in the interconnect room. Students interested can also ask a mentor in the program.

On Wednesday 21st, the afterschool program went on a field trip to Manistee to visit the SS City of Milwaukee railroad car ferry. While it was raining in Northport it wasn't in Manistee.
